Jaime Ortega joined OLIVARES in 2018 as an intern. He is currently an attorney at the firm and his main work focuses on litigation of trademarks, patents and copyright before the different jurisdictional authorities in Mexico, such as the Mexican Patent and Trademark Office (IMPI), the Federal Court of Administrative Affairs, District Courts, Federal Circuit Courts and the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice.

When I’m not being an Attorney…

In my free time I enjoy playing the piano, particularly Chopin´s music; visiting art galleries; going to the cinema and to the gym; travelling; attending symphonic concerts and music festivals; reading and learning about history; spending time with family and friends.
