Throughout her career, she has advised domestic and multinational companies in the pharmaceutical sector and other highly regulated life sciences industries, providing strategic guidance throughout the entire product life cycle. Her practice combines expertise in intellectual property, regulatory affairs, compliance, and strategic litigation, enabling clients to navigate complex legal and regulatory challenges.

She has extensive experience in the design and implementation of strategies for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, as well as in administrative proceedings and litigation related to regulatory protection, market access, and compliance matters. Her approach integrates legal, regulatory, and business considerations, helping clients mitigate risks and achieve their commercial objectives in highly regulated environments.

Ms. Ortiz is the author of several specialized publications and regularly participates as a speaker at national and international conferences and forums on intellectual property, regulatory law, and life sciences.

She currently serves as Chair of the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), where she promotes initiatives and contributes to the analysis of key regulatory and intellectual property developments in Mexico.
