As previously informed, in view of the contingency measures adopted to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, COFEPRIS suspended its normal activities and interrupted terms and deadlines.

A new decree now states that the suspension of activities will continue until further notice. In accordance with the reopening plan issued by the Federal Government, it is expected that COFEPRIS will restart activities after 15 June 2020. However, this strictly depends on the progression of the pandemic in Mexico City.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary.
