On February 8th, 2013 it was published in the Mexican Official Gazette the adhesion of Mexico to the Madrid Protocol.
According with the above publication, the Madrid System will enter into full force and effect in Mexico on February 19, 2013.
Notwithstanding the above, there are still some issues that should be resolved prior to February 19th for the full operation of the Madrid System, e.g. the establishment of the official fees for filing an international application in our country, among others.
